Launched in 2009, the Skills for the Future programme is a one-off HLF programme supporting organisations across the UK to create new heritage training placement opportunities. NHTG has been awarded the largest single amount to provide high-quality, work-based training and skills development opportunities across England to equip people for a career in the built heritage sector. This will take place in the form of 60 variable-length bursaries working on live heritage sites.
Cathie Clarke is the Midlands regional coordinator for this programme. You can contact Cathie on 07590 808060 or at cathie.clarke@heritageskillshub.org
