Building a Green Future

In response to the Changes to the Building Regulations, published in April 2006, Derby College, with some sponsorship from Buildbase, held a Solar Heating and Rainwater Harvesting event on 15th May.  Speaking after the event Glyn Stenson, Operations and CoVE Manager said:

"This event was a great success with over 60 employers / employees attending.

"Both presentations stimulated much interest with ‘hands on’ demonstrations / samples and interactive technology. They were very well received and the audience posed many interesting questions.

"This event has resulted in cementing new partnerships and Derby College propose launching a new Solar Energy Programme accredited through BPEC for companies in the region."
