Now first time buyers are being offered an unrivalled opportunity to move to this thriving new community with the launch of 'Aspire', a contemporary collection of one, two and three-bedroom new homes.

Housing Association Accent Nene together with L & H Homes are working in partnership with Persimmon Homes to ultimately provide a choice of 200 affordable new homes on this former brownfield site. The new homes are being provided to meet local needs after close consultation with Peterborough City Council and the Homes and Communities Agency.

Subject to terms and conditions, the first phase of new homes are being offered on a part-buy, part-rent basis, enabling local people to get their first steps onto the property ladder, or to assist people who are moving to the area.

Accent Nene and L & H Homes have launched a choice of one-bedroom coach houses and two and three-bedroom homes, ensuring that they meet as wide a range of needs as possible.

It is possible to buy 25 per cent share in a one-bedroom home from just £22,487.50, whilst a 25 per cent share in a two-bedroom home is from £32,487.50 and a 25 per share in a three-bedroom house is from £35,750. On the remaining percentage rent is payable, along with a service charge, management and insurance charges. At a later stage a choice of other homes will be available through differing rental schemes.

The homes will be in varying designs that have been carefully chosen to blend in with the surrounding area and they will be built to a high level of specification. External features include landscaped front gardens, fenced and turfed rear gardens and a shed, front and rear lighting and white PVCu windows.

Minimal maintenance air source heat pumps are connected to conventional radiators and water cylinders within each home to provide economical energy-efficient heating.

Inside the homes carpets or flooring are provided throughout and the high-quality fitted kitchens benefit from co-ordinated worktops, a stainless steel integrated oven, hob and cooker hood and plumbing for a washing machine. White sanitaryware and a range of accessories are provided in the bathrooms and downstairs toilets. Some of the larger homes even benefit from additional en-suite facilities - a real benefit for families.
