EMCBE in partnership with the Institute of Directors, the Construction Industry Council and the Derby 500 Club have come together to bring you a workshop introducing you to whole-life costing, including the new ISO 15686 Standard, Part 5: Life cycle costing.  We will also provide an overview of the need for and the issues surrounding the use of whole-life costing.

Objectives

Aimed at all individuals wishing to gain an understanding of the principles of whole-life costing, in particular those involved in designing, constructing, operating and maintaining projects within client, design, quantity surveying and contracting organisations. Attendees will gain an understanding of what they need to consider and how to calculate whole-life costs.

Mohamed is MD of Whole Life Consultants Ltd with wide expertise in whole life costing and value particularly in PFI/PPP projects.

Doug Forbes

Doug is a Senior Consultant.  He is a civil engineer who has wide experience in sustainability assessment and whole life costing.
